An Opportunity of a Lifetime: Unparalleled access to the best music educators in the world. Take lessons with teachers from Aspen Music Festival and School, one of the world’s most prestigious music schools. These hand-picked teachers are not only among the top musicians globally, but have also been rigorously vetted by AMFS for their skills as music educators for all skill levels.

 

Where Music Truly Comes Alive: Forte is built for music lessons with cutting-edge proprietary audio environment that allows you to hear the most human and expressive aspects of music like no other platform.

 

A Memorable and Unique Experience: To make this experience truly memorable for students and parents alike, Forte will organize live webinars called ‘The Forte Foundations Series.’ This series will help parents support their child’s music aspirations and provide targeted bonus content for students, including an exclusive look at how to tackle the application process for prestigious music schools and much more.

 

This program is designed to support students in:

  • Excelling to the next level.
  • Preparing for competitions, festivals, recitals, or auditions.
  • General skills improvement.
  • Any other support on which the parent/student would like to focus.

Program Overview

  • Each package of lessons includes six one-hour lessons with premium certified teachers selected from the Aspen Music Festival and School
  • Participation in the program is accepted on a rolling basis.
  • Students are encouraged to register for successive packages.
  • The cost for each package of lessons is included in your Laurel Springs School tuition, so there is no additional cost to families.
  • Lessons are held on Forte – an online lesson platform with industry-leading audio.
  • Fully individualized learning designed to help you achieve your personal goals.

Program Participation Criteria

  • The program is offered for most Western orchestral instruments with a focus on classical music.
  • Students age 8-18 are welcome to participate.
  • Students should have studied music for at least one year.

Participation in the spring 2023 Forte Music Lesson program is included in your tuition, so you do not need to pay anything additional.

Is there a deadline to apply?

This program accepts new students on a rolling basis, so there is no deadline to apply.

When are lessons held?

Students will be scheduled and matched with a teacher based on matching availability. Teachers may be located all over the US, so lesson times will vary.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the program?

Participating students will receive a certificate of participation after they complete their package of lessons.
